Extra special session with Kevin and Nicole last week! Kevin is Chad’s (my husband) best friend. He stood up in our wedding 4 1/2 years ago…. and next summer Chad will get to do the same in Kevin’s. Now you’ve already met Libby, a class of 2013 senior at Valley Lutheran High School, but now get to know her better by taking a look at her amazing session images! Is it just me? Or does she look more like a Model than a High School Senior? She’s an athlete, in the running to be VLHS’s Homecoming Queen, and the sweetest girl. She was probably almost as excited about the shoot as I was, and I think our joint enthusiasm resulted in a session like none other! Not only is she quite obviously absolutely drop dead gorgeous, but has fabulous style and rocked the bohemian look (I think these headbands may have been created with this girl specifically in mind (: ). Libby was such a great sport and traveled out to Hemlock to try out some new locations with me… and I’m so glad she did! I mean we would have gotten stunning images anywhere we went, cause Libby was just that amazing… but the light, oh the light, was glorious and I could not have had a better subject to shoot in it. There are no words for how beautiful she looked in the last few minutes of daylight… you just have to scroll down to the bottom of her session share here and see for yourself! (;

… and a Behind the Scenes! Meet Libby, a class of 2013 senior at Valley Lutheran High School. This session was nothing short of amazing! I am so thrilled that I got to photograph Libby… She was PERFECT! I’m dying to show her and her family the awesome photos we have from the few hours we spent together last Friday. Until then, a little Behind the Scenes… AND her Sneak Peek. The photo in the middle of the BTS is a before photo… and her Sneak is the after! How amazing is that?!!!

Even though I’m technically a Saginaw based engagement photographer, I love the chance to shoot in other places. Because it is a special place for this wonderful couple, who I’m lucky enough to call my friends, we spent the evening shooting in Frankenmuth. Their gallery will be up soon, keep an eye out for more of Zack and Nicole!

Meet Cassondra, class of 2013 senior at Hemlock High School…. She plans to go to school next fall to become a Physician’s Assistant. I know she’ll be a “famous PA” someday. (;
What I love most about being a Hemlock Senior Photographer?… Getting to photograph amazing girls from my hometown and in my hometown! We started this photo shoot in her amazing lace dress! If you haven’t seen it yet, scroll down! She rocked it and some fantastic pearls… Her style is awesome, and I would take fashion advice from her any day. Mint and coral are all the rage right now, and I was giddy when I saw her mint top…. AND jewelry!! Such a good choice for her… the mint with her gorgeous skin just made her glow! Oh and the vest and jeans…. perfect fall fashion! We did all of these outfits in an urban setting in Saginaw…. the poncho sweater… in HEMLOCK!! The whole session was so much fun, but being on our own turf for the last 45 min was a great way to finish the session! And we got my favorite shots during that time… (see images directly below featuring the gorgeous Cassondra in the poncho sweater and ripped jeans!)
